The Fox Amateur Boxing Club, home of former world champion Anthony Crolla, is still waiting to open its doors after its relocation to Avro FC.

The club, which moved after a fire destroyed their old gym, has undergone a move to the Limeside area of Oldham with the help of Maverick Stars Trust.

The premises is being used by professional fighters Rhiannon Dixon, James Moorcroft and Jake James during the Coronavirus pandemic, but is yet to open its doors to its amateur fighters.

"I can't wait to get the kids back in the gym and start to get back to normal," said Crolla.

"The club is a huge part of the lives of everyone involved, and its been a tough year for the club without being able to show our fighters the new facilities."
